A few weeks ago, I recorded this acoustic session with Joshua Chandler-Morris for Punktastic. You can view the video below.
It was great to be introduced to Josh and I particularly fell for his voice. I told him. I don’t think he believed me though.
Check it out!
AWESOME!

The day after recording the Bouncing Souls, I recorded BRITISHTEETH. We recorded this one as a full band, as opposed to acoustic and it worked out really well!
You can check that video out below. I hope you enjoy it…

This weekend was quite special for me.
About 6 or 7 years ago I spent the day with a man called Ted Hutt. Ted recorded a bunch of really sweet records and because of the sweet day we had, it was the first time I realised that recording bands was something that I really wanted to do. Of the bands that he’d recorded, the one that stood out most to me was The Bouncing Souls. I loved The Bouncing Souls from a fairly young age, so from that point on the thought of being able to record bands like them was a massive aim of mine.
On Saturday, I recorded The Bouncing Souls, Luther and Cheap Girls before their show at The Peel in Kingston. Although, these recordings were only acoustic recordings to go along side video footage for Punktastic, it was something that meant a hell of a lot to me, because of that small back story above. I’ve attached a few pictures of these sessions below:
On Sunday, I then recorded British Teeth and Josh Chandler Morris. I’ll upload pictures of this session as soon as I can get hold of some.
All of the above sessions were recorded and filmed for Punktastic and will be uploaded to their site over the coming weeks. Get psyched!! I can’t wait for you all to see and hear these!
I’d really like to say thank you to all involved and I can’t wait to get involved in as many more recording opportunities as possible. My mobile recording rig is now up and running and so far has proved to be pretty efficient. If you’re after some location based recordings, please don’t hesitate to email me at luke-godwin@hotmail.com and we can see what we can sort out!

Hey all! Last week, I uploaded another new song to the SoundCloud page. Please feel free to check it out and let me know your thoughts. It’s downloadable for free, either on it’s own, or as part of the ever growing bundle of ‘homeless songs’ that I’ve been working on since the ‘Springtime Radio’ EP.
Check it out below:
Last night, I got back from a long weekend in Amsterdam. It’s an absolutely amazing city. If anyone knows anyway that I can get a show out there, I’d love to come back, hang out and play 😉
Cheers!
